Copyright Notice
This website and its content is copyright of Paul Dickinson, the owner of In-Gear™ (UK) Motorcycle Rider Training. The business name of In-Gear™ is a Registered Trademark owned by Paul Dickinson. One of the key purposes of the trade mark is to protect the reputation of In-Gear. Briefly, the trade mark prevents the use of the name In-Gear or similar, being used in any style, with or without a hyphen, by other businesses in connection with driving lessons and motorcycling lessons in the United Kingdom. If another person wishes to trade with the name they must first of all obtain permission and a licence from us. If their business does not clearly state that they have permission and a certificate then they don't have it. The penalties for non-compliance are potentially very severe and use of the name without permission constitutes at the very least the offence known as 'Passing Off'. This where a business seeks to trade off the good name of the established trade mark.It is an unscrupulous action.
For more information about the restrictions and penalties in connection with the misuse of trade marks please visit the UK Intellectual Property Office at www.ipo.gov.uk. All rights in connection with the In-Gear Trade Mark are reserved.
