Swerve Test Video / Hazard Avoidance

We have published these short video clips to help riders understand that the Hazard Avoidance Exercise is comfortably achievable when the combination of good training and willing students exists. Neither of the riders in the clips had ever ridden a motorbike before. The videos are not designed to be a practical lesson and we advise that any learning and practice in this exercise is taken only with an experienced professional trainer. We hope that after seeing these videos you will have the confidence to give it a go.

The In-Gear students in the video clips below were taught how to handle their bikes and ride the various elements of the Module 1 Specified Manoeuvres riding test. They have been through CBT with us, were put on to the big bikes at the right time for their abilities and they had a couple of extra days each on the big bikes including some road riding. They are now ready for their Module 1 tests. We fully expect them to pass first time. The clips show them riding the Hazard Avoidance Exercise at the required test standard.
